what is the first thing you do when you get home from work each day?

hug my child, take off my shoes, and pour a glass of wine. don't try to count that as three things...i'm a working mom and I multi task! I do all three at once.

I get out of my car.
After that I walk in the door and set my things down, put my empty coffee mug in the sink, take my jacket off and hang it up, then next is my shoes. During all this, I will say hello to whoever is home to greet me. It's usually my husband, my son and my cats. Sometimes my daughter is home, too.

4. Start a fire in the woodstove (now that it's cold)

I work second shift so I wash my face and put on my sleeping clothes, feed and water the cats, turn the computer on and sit here with a drink. I try to limit myself to 30 minutes and then go to bed.

Check the mailbox, pet my dog and let him out to do his thing, let dog back in, change clothes, cook dinner, and wait on my husband to get home from work.
