I've had two here in Minnesota awhile back. You'll get probation, they make you take AA classes, alcohol education classes and maybe a MADD panel class. You may get a hefty fine. You'll probably have to go to probation meetings once a month, pee in cups.... Blah, blah. Any more questions, IM me.

Your insurance will go through the roof which can impact your ability to do anything that requires you to drive for a company as fleet insurance is high and to insure a DWI under fleet insurance is too high to keep you on. You may not be able to get certain kinds of jobs. some people will think you are drunk and some people will probably right. And for the rest of us we have at least 6 months of safer driving since you will not be driving.

A hefty fine and reinstatement fee to get your lisence back. You will likely do community service and attend a class on drunk driving, drinking, alcoholism, or some other related topic. Your insurance will also go up.
A hint for the future, have a Designated Driver or call a cab. It just isn't worth it.

To be honest with you--you're faced with a charge which can have serious outcomes. Minnesota DUI penalties can be harsh. I don't want to scare you, but let me give you a glimpse of what could happen. If your case goes the wrong way you could lose your license ... your insurance could go up or be cancelled ... you could even go to jail.
Plus it doesn't end there. A conviction is costly, even hurting you when you apply for a job.

I got one in Texas and had to pick up dog$hit for 80 hours of community service. I also had to take some BS alcohol awareness course and a few other minor things. The worst part about it was the huge fine.

Wonderful state for treatment!! Go for it. I did and my life became much better for it.
Whether you want to accept it or not, you have a drinking problem. People that don't have drinking problems never get pulled over drinking.
I wish you all the best and hope you'll take the step forward instead of going backwards and your life becoming worse.

i hope you never apply for a job that requires any driving!
also your insurance skyrockets.
but you can look forward to NEVER DOING THAT AGAIN, since you are fortunate that you were caught without anyone getting hurt.
also, you can look forward to people not having a lot of sympathy for your troubles, since you irresponsibly put the lives of everyone on the road in danger because you did not feel like calling a cab.

Nationwide average, about $2000-$3000 in fines and legal fees.
And the second (and later) ones get worse, so be careful.
