A Nuclear Iran. This will even things out in the Middle East and force Israel to the negotiating table. Negotiation only happens when there is a military stalemate. It is a bit like the Cold War with Russia. Nobody wanted a nuclear war and so in the end economic and political pressure brought about change. I don't think Iran or Israel are stupid enought to go nuclear but Iran definitely wants a bargaining chip equal to Israel's!

If the Coalition Forces left, there would be even more violence and, therefore, deaths. They need to stay there to ensure stability.

Peace in the MIddle East is giong to take the civlians to step up and recognize that that the religious wars have to stop, and then attempt to stop them peacefully.

If the news media would give us correct information, we would be in a better position to debate. So our next source of information would be the soldiers themselves. The majority say the forces need to remain a little longer. President Bush is listening to the military, not the hippies and story-manipulating liberal media.

A big bomb dropped right in the middle. Sad but probably true, while there are some many people out there so close together with their own separate agendas there can be no peace.

Even since biblical times the middle east has never been stable or "at peace". What makes you think that western interference (or the lack of it) will change that situation.

Just as long as the US is getting the oil and making the $$$. I do hope the wars in the Middle East will cease though. The wars in Africa, -especially Africa, should carry on, full swing, bugger them. Africa should be Nuked, it's full of AIDS, it's the best solution for them, and it's cheaper.
