The _average_ is 28, but many people have 24 day cycles, some have 34 day cycles. My mum had 32 day cycles. If yours is always that number of days, then you're nice and regular, but you have a shorter than _average_ cycle, but it's still a _normal_ length for a cycle.

Mine were never regular, sometimes it would be 15 days, sometimes 40. I went on birth control at 17 to get some regularity.

Evey one has their own cycle, "normal" is usually considered 26 to 35 days and 28 isn't a magical number that you have to be. As long as it is consistent and you have no other complaints this is your normal. The biggest issue I see here is inconvenience with the frequency of your periods.

Most women do not have perfectly regular periods. So long as you get one every month you are fine. Mine was always irregularly regular in that it came every month but anywhere from 32-36 days.
