i think she adopted two and i forgot which country the girl came from but how come she never adopted a caucasion child. i mean that is a good thing that she cares and wants to make a better life for the kids but in a way cant that confuse them also? growing up with a white mom and dad and going to school with everyone totally different than them? just like how madonna adopted that kid from africa, how is she going to raise him, is she going to let him discover his culture and let him be with people like him? i guess they want their children growing up with diversity which isn't bad but i just think it would so much easier to adopt a child of the same ethnicity as yourself. what do you think?

When you are fabulously wealthy it is easy to adopt any child. Hollywood liberals want to gain the praise and admiration of the world. It is time for us to stop paying attention to them.

It shouldn't matter. There are many children all over the world who need loving parents. I guess it would be "easier" to adopt a child who is of your same ethnicity...but it isn't necessary. I don't know her personal reasons for why or how she selected the children she wanted to adopt, but I don't care. I think its great for any child of any race to have the chance to be adopted by loving and caring people. This is a very diverse world, and I think it's great. We can all learn from people of different cultures and ethnicity.

I really don't think it matters as long as the child is raised in a loving home. Angelina Jolie is always spending time in other countries, so I have no doubt that she will make sure her children know about their cultures. Madonna can afford to do the same thing. Maybe they feel that the cause is bigger than what may be easier.

That was the "fashionable" thing to do in 2006 - adopt a child from a third world country. It's a great way for celebrities to create publicity for themselves. They get all the glory (publicity) and the baby's nanny gets all the dirty work.

Because there is no such thing as "caucasion children." I believe the word you are looking for is "Caucasian."

I think people who adopt children are giving one of the greatest gifts possible. I don't question their racial motives.
