Hello ya'll, I bought a 500GB Western Digital netcenter external NAS drive, and I love it! http://www.westerndigital.com/en/products/Products.asp?DriveID=243
Some one told me I should be able to share the drive over the internet so that let's say my sister in another city can view pictures and data stored in it. How do I go about sharing this drive through my wireless router? Also, what would be the URL I would have to give my sis so that she can see the data? I am not too familiar w/ the different protocols, ports and ip mambo jambo...
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'd strongly advise against trying to share that on the internet. It will be hacked in short order and you'll wind up hosting kiddie porn on it. (I'm not saying that as a joke, I have personally seen this happen.)

That NAS is intended for sharing files on a LAN, not a WAN such as the internet. You chould use it as a data repository for files that were accessable via a website running from your home but that's going to be a bit of work. If you did that, you'd want to set up a separate web server to host the site to prevent your personal machine from being hacked in to.
