Its no wonder outsiders hate america. All they see is money grubbing fat cats with no morals. And this is a perfect example of that.

A company making you lose paid time because of a piss.....thats ultimate greed

No - there are basic functions humans have to do and your employer has to provide a sanitary work environment for you to work in - so with that said I don't know how sanitary it would be if you couldn't use the bathroom in a timely manner. Do they time you when you have to get water to take medicine ? Seem very trivial unless your spending a half hour each time you go in there.

No. Actually, many states have laws that employers must allow paid "comfort breaks" for things such as using the restroom and stretching your legs. However, that may be what they consider your two 15-minute breaks. They can give the reasoning that you should just be able to use the restroom then and on your lunch break.

No. The last time I asked for permission to go to the bathroom was the pennetentiary. However; on the flip, the bathroom should not be used as an excuse to miss work. Go to work as quick as possible then go back to work.

i think it should depend how often and for how long you go... there's this guy i work with that goes in the bathroom to take a nap for 30 minutes. now that's unfair.

If you are taking 15 minute poop breaks then yes it should count against you. If you just have to pee real quick then no.

It really depends on your state law, how your company interprets it and if you're willing to fight about it. You can check with your state department of employment and see what they say the law is. They should have a web-site.
