I used and iron and a paper bag to transfer the candle wax onto the paper. I've found that an old teeshirt will work as well. You'll still have some left on the table cloth but it usually will scrub off with hot hot water and Dawn dish soap. Do it like this:
put the paper bag over the wax spot. Put a towel or old cloth (tee-shirt works nice) over the paper bag and run the iron over it. Dont just let the iron stay put, move it around and it should transfer.

Like the other answer said, only I would put the table cloth in the freezer for at least an hour, scrape off the wax and then use a spot remover product like Spot Shot.

use an ice cube to harden and scrape off excess then use a brown paper bag and hot [as your tablecloth can take] iron. put paper over stain and use iron to melt remaining wax. the paper will absorb most of it then wash with a grease cutting detergent like Dawn dish soap. Do not put in dryer but repeat steps as needed till all wax residue is gone.

You can put several layers of paper towel over it and gradually iron it off with a low heat setting.

I've heard if you use a piece of ice to freeze the wax, it will allow you to scrap it off.
