He has this car alarm that's uber-sensitive, and goes off like 25 times a day. The car is parked right outside my window, in an assigned space. When the alarm goes off, he just looks up and says, "It'll cut off in 30 seconds" and doesn't even bother to go out and try to do anything about it. When I have a client in my office, and the damn thing goes off, we have to sit there and deal with it while trying to discuss business.

Punch him dead in his face the next time it goes off...LOLOl Just kidding. You need to tell him that he needs to either do something about the alarm or else you will need to escalate the issue to management. Not only is it a nuisance but it will and can affect business.

I dont know if beating the crap out of him will do anything. You do have few choices. Either key his car when no one is looking! Or Tell your boss that you cant do your job with this happening, and see if anything gets done or go to his boss and see what happens. If you are his boss then fire his ***. Or just find out if there is a way you can have his spot moved away from the building! Is anyone else having this problem with him? Maybe if a group gangs up on him he will grow up!

Send him a memo detailing how disruptive it is for clients to try to talk over the noise of his alarm, and ask him to set it so that it's not so sensitive. If nothing is done, you will have documentation to take to your management. Good luck.

Your company should be willing to reassign his parking space if it's causing you problems at work. If not, yes, beat the crap out of him or a well placed pipe bomb should fix the problem. Good luck and let me know how it turns out!!

from now on, every time the alarm goes off, go to his desk and start peeing on it. Wehn he gives you that shocked look (its almost a guarantee) just say "It's ok, It'll cut off in 30 seconds"
no need to resort to violence... not yet anyway
