Don't be silly. Your hard work will overcome most obstacles- but for the ones it doesn't, being smart isn't always required. Being resourceful is. As long as you know where to find the answers, intelligence plays less of a role in the solution to the problem at hand...

You are on the honor roll, this will reflect well when you apply to university. Please bear in mind that hard work often trumps "intelligence." A great many intelligent people suffer from things coming a bit too easily for them, and tend not to develop good study habits. I would imagine that you're in a much better position than you think.
Best of luck!

Smart is the person who knows her limitations and compensates for them! What I hear you saying is that what you lack in instant insight you make up for with dogged determination. Let me quote to you something written by a former President of ours, Calvin Coolidge:
"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent."
Hang in there and you will find a way. You have a unique set of talents. You are better in some things than anyone else you know. In some things you may not be as good. But, this is the way for all of us and you are not different in this regard.

You are amazing. Hard work will help you overcome any obstacle. Honestly, as someone for whom everything came "easy" in high school, college was a bear because I had to learn my study habits at age 19!
You will have to apply yourself to get into college by practicing for your ACT/SAT. It doesn't take an incredibly high score for a lot of state universities. Where do you want to go?
Really, what gives people a leg up in school is having a direction for their lives and determination to follow through. You're halfway there!

Yes you have a great chance! Don't sweat, you are a magnificent person. But you won't know it until you realize it for yourself. You deserve the best because you work hard at your studies. This is a characteristic you need in order to excel in college. Now pick up your head and pride and strut!

As a teacher I would rmuch rather have a bunch of students with average ability who work hard then a bunch who are brilliant but lazy. Your hard work WILL pay off in the long run and you will be successful. Keep it up!

I work in a hospital and know plenty of nurses and Doctors who are not really all that smart, they just worked hard in college. In the end it isn't how much you know but how determined you are and how much time and effort you will put into it. Of course you will get into a college!

I went to school with a girl just like you and she went to exactly the tertiary institution she wanted.
It's also very intelligent to make use of the ability you have ,a lot of people just sit on it
