Here are my reasons why
1. Next to no games with the launch....as well as in the near future..there was a rep from sony on t.v. today and he stated that it is going to be a very slow next couple of months for Games.
2. Almost every retail store I am in has them in stock now and nobody is calling about them anymore....(I actually work at Wal*Mart near my town and I can not sell them as well anymore...i have had the same 4 systems in stock for over a week now...plus we are getting 36 60g next week)
3. I have gotten 5 returned to my store since launch....4 of them due to the wi-fi going bad in the 60's....upon calling sony they said that they are aware of the problem and not sure how many systems are going to be affected by this.
So im sorry but Sony did not start off on a good step with this system....I remember when the PS2 Launched...i actually have 1 of the 1st gen systems..i got it on launch day...still works like new...so instead of PS3 i went and got a wii..what do u all think?

I read an article the other day that stated that it was going to be a slow start for Playstation 3 games. This is because not many people have them, so why waste money to make games when they are mainly going to be sitting on the shelf. I do not know about them not selling anymore since where I live, they are in high demand and sold out everywhere (even Wal-Mart). I heard that there is no plan of anymore coming to the United States for a few months.

I know a lot of people who have Wii and they love the system. They say it is so much fun. I would be careful though since there have been reports from people of broken wrist straps. The company is even recalling some systems. While playing the game, people let go of the remote and therefore the strap breaks and it can fly into something and break things around you. So Nintendo advised people tp be careful and not let go of the remote (as if you are actually playing the game).

tite, I still have a first gen PS2, but it was actually a rebuilt one...but it works perfect, I have friends whose PS2's freeze up and mine never does. That sucks about the PS3, I see your point, the Wii looks a lot more fun, instead of doing the same old thing with better graphics like the PS3, I think I may get a Wii
