I disagree. First, because parents don't want to let go of the fact that their children become TEENAGERS and grow up to Adults as well.
Why are parents stuck at raising their 16 year old daughters baby? Its because they didn't teach her when she was younger, and they are stuck doing it for her.
Parents need to teach their children the difference between consequence and action, before they get to that point.
Its okay yes, to give and help out, but NEVER do it for them.

If we try to burden ourselves with doing everything we would not be able to accompolish anything. This is why there are families and family systems set up so we can rely on one another to do things for one another to make the general well-being of each other better.
