When i read your question i was reminded of something that i did a few months ago.
I intentionally kicked a light that was coming out of the ground as i was informed that it would turn off. I kicked it as though it was a football (soccer ball) using the top of my foot and really hard. It hurt like hell but the light did go out! And I laughed about it with my mates for weeks after.

Absolutely! But I usually do it when I'm sitting down. I tend to sort of kick off to get up out of my chair and end up just plain kicking. I have also done this and kicked file cabinets. Looks stupid. I recommend slapping your knee and saying, "Terrific!" and then "Ouch!" At least it makes it look like you're enthusiastic and folks know you can laugh at yourself. It's a sign of self confidence, and frankly that impresses some people.

No, don't cry, pretend it doesn't hurt or that it hurts only a little, otherwise they will think you are a baby. If I did something like that and then I tried to cry about it my friends would still laugh at me and never let it go

Martin Gramatica does...

He used to be the placekicker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

One game, he hit the game winner and jumped around celebrating,

During the celebration he started to feel pain, after an MRI, it turned out he tore his hamstring, had to miss the rest of the season, then got fired because they only keep one kicker
