My husband and I are trying to get pregnant... I have been trying to think of a really good way to tell him if I get pregnant. I know he is going to be happy and I don't want to just tell him I want to do something.... got any ideas? Oh yeah it will be our first child... thanks.

Bake a cake (or buy one), and on top put some of those little its a boy/girl signs on it. Or make a card and tell him it is just for fun and on the front put To my daddy and on the inside put I can't wait to see you.

Go to a store and buy some baby booties and other cute baby stuff, do not spend too much money though and put it in a box and gift wrap it. Tell him you have a gift for him and give it to him. I think him knowing that he is getting a gift as special as this will excite him beyond words.

Cook a candlelight dinner, buy a nice bottle of wine, dress up all sexily, etc,
Have a really romantic evening and when you're smooching in front of the fire at the end, tell him.
Or do what I did - do the test at 9am on a Saturday morning when he's still in bed then go upstairs, wake him up and say "I've done the test" and when he replies "Negative?" shake your head. Hahah! His reply was "You're joking!!!"
We were delighted as we'd been trying for ages.

Get a cookie cake from the chooclate chip cookie factory and have them write "We are Having a Baby" in pink and blue icing on it and then serve that for dessert

Tell him on the dinner table after food, during desert. It will call for celebration after he hears about the good news and the best spot is on the dinner table after food. Y'all can celebrate from desert period till all night from there.

I can tell you how mine told me, and we tried for 5 years with the medical process and all, and end up doing it ourselves; I was flying to the East cost on business and she put a baby bootie in my briefcase without me knowing it. When I opened it up for the meeting there it was....big smile on my face, and made the call!

Make him supper with baby corn, baby potatoes, baby back ribs and all the baby food you can find!!!!! even use tiny cups! I wanted to do that with my hubby but i couldn't keep it quiet long enough.
