If he had been offered more money than he is making now, would he relocate? I saw the other day what he makes per year but I have forgotten but it was a heck of a lot less than they offered Nick Saban.

I dunno. I'd hate to see him leave, but money talks.

After JT and the Buckeyes win their second NC in 5 years his contract will be renegotiated and I expect him to pick up a nice chunk of change, will he get Saban money? I don't think so, I think he will want his assistants to also get a nice raise. I doubt he would leave for any other job even an NFL job. A lot of great college coaches have went to the NFL and have not had much success. Also in the NFL unless your teams are great within the first 3 years of your coaching tenure you're probably going to get fired. Tressel has a career job at The Ohio State University, he is 54(I believe) so he could potentially have 15 more years of coaching(or more). If you give up a job at a school like OSU you may never get another chance.

I don't think he would relocate. You can't really get much more prestigous than OSU and he has built it back up into the powerhouse it once was. I'm pretty sure OSU would match any offer anyway. The only way he could potentially leave would be to go to the NFL if he felt like he wanted to prove himself on that level, but I've heard he would only consider the Cleveland Browns head coaching position since he has ties to Ohio. The Browns job isn't up for grabs just yet but could be in a year or two if Romeo Crennel doesn't turn it around. They could make a bid on him then, but I'm guessing he will ultimately stay at OSU since they'll match the money and he would have the ultimate in job security/quality of life (he's treated like a god in Ohio).

Tressell is far more loyal than Saban ever will be. Saban is a pure oportunist, where the dollars are he will be there. Tressell is building a legacy at OSU.

That fumble interior the 1st quarter replaced into extensive, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it occurred early. there is not any reason that would desire to influence the end results of the sport. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that interior the fourth quarter, if OSU had gotten this is men off the sector swifter and not had to call that factor out, they'd have been waiting to take the sport to beyond conventional time. not that it replaced into Tressel's fault they had to call a visit. there replaced into somewhat some confusion on the sector at that factor and that i think of even Illinois hadn't yet desperate wether or to not decide for it. interior the tip, there replaced into no explanation for OSU to enable Illinois take 8 minutes off the clock interior the 4th quarter. the way the two communities performed,, Illinois deserved to win that game. flow greenbacks! Beat the Wolver-weenies.

Even though I despise the Buckeyes(Go Blue), I believe this guy isn't the kind of guy that would let his players down. If "the" Ohio State University has class, they'll at least offer him a slight raise in the near future with the success he's had.

Jim has stated that he is a college coach and is happy where he is. Until he does something to show otherwise, you have to take his word for it.
