Pluck with the grain, don't pluck against the grian, and you'll be fine

If you need help finding shapes, go get them professionally shaped first and then just maintain it

since it's your first time plucking your eyebrows i would actually suggest you get them waxed the first time so you have some sort of base shape as a starting point...just tell the cosmetologist that you don't want them done too thin and any other concerns you have for how you want them to look. plus, getting them waxed you won't have to worry about hair growing back for about two - three weeks...when they do start to grow back just pluck the strays that grow in or continue to get them waxed if you prefer that - it's only about 10 or 12 dollars depending on where you go.

If I were you I would have them shaped by a professional, at least the first time. That way, if you want to do it yourself, you can just follow the shape they made them into and pluck only the regrowing hairs. It isn't very expensive most places.

The best way for a beginner to get a good shape is to take some vaseline put on your eyebrows and make the shape youd like your eyebrows to be. The weight of the vaseline makes eyebrow sculpting easy. once youve got your desired shape, just the excess

I would get them waxed, tell the 'waxer' how you want them shaped and you will be good, plucking is WAY worse then waxing! Trust me it hurts...
