I first noticed these bugs on my computer monitor. There are a lot of them crawling round and round. They are very tiny, just like dust, pale in colour, and have hairs. They are so tiny that I can't work out what they are. I have wiped the area with disinfectant and they still come back. What are they and how can I get rid of them?

probably baby spiders or spider mites. you need to get rid of the source, which could be a huge egg sac inside the computer monitor. Try spraying your monitor with windex and letting it dry.

They sound like newly hatched roaches...do u have a desktop computer where they might be coming out of the side vents? Unfortunately roaches love to infest electronic equipment (which is usually how they spread to a new place when people move, b/c u don't know they're in there) and they r really hard to get rid of b/c they can live on eating anything from the paint on your walls to crumbs (hence y they survive nuclear bombs!) If that's what they r, about the only way to get rid of them is to bug bomb your whole place and then u usually still need someone like Orkin to come do a heavy duty spray b/c they tend to come back in from neighboring buildings/apartments or outside.

You have a bug in your computer!!!

Check your loft....they may be bird mites - birds use loft spaces in winter and for breeding in summer! If they are small like little tiny grains of sand...they are probably bird mites....They breed rapidly and unfortunately you will need the house/loft fumigated....local council will advise!

Or, they could be spider mites from plants in the house.....they have found a lovely warm monitor to breed in/on.

they are dust mites, most households have them. you need to get some insecticide as they will probably have a breeding area close to your desk. have a good spring clean!
