or that we are Spiritual beings having a Human experience? If we are spiritual beings, why is it that as a human race, why do we do so many things that dampen our spirits on a constant basis?

Spiritual beings having a human experience!

Basically, we are always wondering if the grass is really greener on the other side, so we go over the fence and give it a try; then we find out it is really astroturf and the sun was shining down on it hence the beautiful shade of green.

We do have freedom of choice and that's why we do what we do 'on a constant basis'.

We're foolish!

I fully believe that we are spiritual beings experiencing a human existence, but that we have forgotten this, in order to focus on the physical world around us. If we could remember then it would be too much for us to handle all at once while still trying to get on with the business of living life here. Plus, all we would want to do is return to the spiritual plane where life is much less troublesome. We experience up and down emotions so that we will learn the difference between them and appreciate the things that keep us up or make us happy.

Because we also emotional beings too,so with that said anything that is not considered a positive action can definitely dampen your emotional well being-I personally believe that when we die we can either choose to come back to this Earthly realm and finish our spiritual perfection or if you think you have had enough then you don't need come back any longer because you are done.

I believe we are spiritual beings experiencing human existence. We do things "that dampen our spirits" because we also have been given free choice. In the human experience, we are imperfect and selfish and we actively CHOOSE to do detrimental things to ourselves and others. That is my opinion on the subject...and good question, BTW!

We are spiritual beings. It's the ones (the majority of humans)that don't realize it and they dampen the spirit. We are too close to physical pleasures as well, that is what also ruins it. Feelings of guilt, lust and greed ruin the spirit as well. Meditation and thought would probably help alotof people. That is waht seperates us from animals-thought, ideas and reason.

Because of our individual personalities, our naivete, and our freedom of choice. We are spiritual beings enjoying biological life. Our spirits will live-on and continually grow, but our personalities change with every new body. . .

When we can all come together on the same page then we can stop the feelings of victimization that leads to vengeance, and so on. . .

We are humans, animals with 46 chromosomes. We have evolved to a point where we can realize our ability to have spiritual experiences.
