He should do what he feels is right with each individual piece of legislation. If that is a veto, then I guess it is a veto; but he should examine each bill independently and try to do what he feels is best for the country. I don't feel very confident that this will happen though, I think he will do what is best for the rich people and that will probably mean a veto for every piece of liberal legislation, because it is not usually best for the rich; just for the people.

Well, it would take a lot. First off, Bush would have to learn what is best for the country, he hasn't yet and most of his policies and acts have done nothing good for the country.

By the way, didn't Ford, the centrist, put Justice Stevens on the High Court? Yes, that Justice Stevens, the one all the conservatives point to as bad, and all the rest of us point to as a Patriot.

Maybe not all of the Liberal legislation, but certainly most of it....what isnt vetoed could easily be recycled into the Sunday comics.

What? Why would he do that? He may veto all the bills that he disagrees with, but congress could just overturn his veto.

Yes, he should. Socialistic ideals are not what our country stands on. They will only weaken our economy, our education, our health. But then again, all Bush has wanted to do is spend, spend, spend.
