Rush Limbaugh cited a study done in Germany called the Queen Bee Syndrome, where when a woman is in power, she is more likely to appoint men to positions of power and feel jealously towards other women who are striving for power. This is why Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi are so "at odds", if you will. I don't recall the soundbites well enough to paraphrase them, but they were making quips at each other.
Pelosi, as well as Clinton, only have one goal, and that is power. Her speech was surprising, as she really didn't try to hide her power hungry ambitions. Instead, she came right out with them.
But how does Pelosi being the most powerful woman in the country make me feel? It makes me feel terrible, because she isn't just a liberal, she's lefty wacko!

I didn't vote Democrat, and I think they will be bad for the country.
But I'm going to try not to get hateful and pick apart every little thing she does. The Democrats have done that to Bush for years. It's bad for the blood pressure, among other things!
Since the Dems have won I have to hope that I am wrong and they will be good for the country. Although I will still criticize what I think they are doing wrong, and offer alternatives where I can.

Oprah is the most powerful woman on Earth.
What ever she says 100's of millions of women immediately do.
Oprah is powerful enough to be the antichrist.

It makes me feel good that America has taken this monumental step forward towards equality. She is the first female speaker of the house.
