Myself and 5 friends are travelling to London City Airport in June and will be in London for 3 nights. One night we will be at Wembley Stadium and the others will be spent in the Lecester Square area. We would like to stay somewhere in between but for as cheap as possible and very close to the tube. Oh and no hostels either please. Thanks in advance

The docklands is about 15 minutes from the airport and there are some hotels on the docklands, such as the Ibis and hotel Britannia. Any further into town and the hotels become quite expensive. There are Dockland light Railway (DLR) services which take you right into the middle of town into Bank and has connections to Oxford Circus and Westminster.
You can also find hotels that are close to Wembley and Leicester Square but sorry I dont know hotels in that area. If you do find a hotel, on your arrival and departure you can go to Kings Cross which is like 20 mins from the airport on the DLR.
Hope this helps!

Are you going to see Muse ?
Check https://www.travelodge.co.uk
They have rooms in June from £60 at the London City Airport hotel, £70 at Farringdon (train direct from Wembley)

I would try the Travelodge website and do a search for cheap hotels - normally they will have some for £26 per room, you might get lucky. If you do you wont mind paying for a travel card per day as the hotel might be a touch further out.

Like one of the other posts have said Docklands has alot of hotels or failing that try near the places you want to go. Not alot of hotels near Leicester Sq though apart from some pricy ones.

Try travelodge, but be flexable in location
