i saw the video on "YOU TUBE" and even tho he was a crude person i cannot get that image out of my head he deseved to die

I know Sadaam wasn't exactly what we would call an "honorable" man, but he was a man just the same. He was human like us all. I am neither for nor against the life penalty, but it still hurt me inside to see that a man was being killed. The fact that it was by hanging bothers me even more. I don't know why it just seems so wrong to me. I am definitely not against him being punished for what he did, but I'm upset about the way he died.

The taking of any life is regrettable. We could debate the necessity of capital punishment, but it's clear that he was a brutal man with no remorse.

although i didn`t lose a family member under his rule[he was cruel]i do not believe we are god to put him to death.as for the video i`m sure he didn`t show respect for those he had put to death,but the people that were at his hanging could of shown that they were better than him and not taunted him.but that`s just my opinion

The Iraqi justice system was kinder to him than he was to others. This is as it should be. Honorable people cannot commit the atrocities that Saddam committed.

I felt nothing in particular.. but i didn't like the timeing of hanging him with the Mulim holidays.. It was indecent to do that..IMO

I think turning Saddam into a Martyr by hanging him was infinitely stupid.
