A girl at my school has something big time over me and the two of us tease each other a lot. I guess I made one two many comments about her makeup and she warned me that I was going to regret it. I guess she decided that she's going to teach me exactly goes into putting on makeup. She left a message ony my voicemail that I was to go buy lipstick, blush, foundation, eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara, press on nails, and nail polish this afternoon and not to get dollar store stuff. I'm going to go along with this for a couple or reasons, but I don't want to bankrupt myself. I noticed she didn't tell me colors so I'm not even going to concern myself with that. What is the cheapest way/ place to buy these things? Is there like a starter kit of some kind I could get? I'd like to do this all for under $30.

go to Wal Mart or Target. NYC has cheap stuff not horrible either just walk up and down the make isles and check prices plus if you should go to target. they have clearance stuff so you could keep your goal. although you don't need all that. i wear mascara , foundation, and lip gloss. some times eyeshadow and i only use blush for special occasion i rarely ever wear eyeliner. so tell her its partially her fault it takes so long i need 5 maybe 10 minutes to do m y make up and look good. good luck i think your going to need it.

Go to your local Wal Mart and head to the NYC section of the cosmetics section. You'll find everything you are looking for and at a very reasonable price. for under $30.00 you can find pretty much everything you need. Do not worry about colours and shades just specify in pinks and reds. These two colours are closely linked, so it should not matter much. Ummm, also look for random sales too. That should really help. A final tip on mascara, dollar stores pretty much sells the best.

Surprisingly Target has a good makeup section. They often have sets taht you can get with lots of variety in colors and what not.
Get nice blush, foundation, and eyeliner, the rest you can go cheap on and no one will know the difference.

ok .. under 30 bucks ... thats a stretch!
keep it simple ...
go to mac .. but her lip gloss and mascara and an eyeshadow ... that will be just under or a little over 30 bucks ... its not the cheap stuff ... she will be impressed ... she'll tell all her friends ... and her mom ... you'll get 10 groovy points from her inner circle just like that ..
and lip gloss, mascara and eyeshadow are a girls makeup essentials!

Maybelline makeup is reasonably priced, good selection of colors, and very good quality
