Considering the Chiefs game plan, and that defense, I say 250.

416 carries samurai, and they have been in playoff schedule practice for weeks, LJ is still pretty fresh. I think they have a good chance at the Colts obviously, but you are totally forgetting who plays QB for the Chargers. Phillip Rivers

1)Is in a slump
2)Has never played in a playoff game

You honestly think those two things won't be magnified?

I agree though, Bennett is averaging great yardage on his runs this season, but only gets like 5% of the carries, it's ridiculous.

Lets get back down to reality. This is the playoffs, the Colts are NOT just screwing around at the end of the season. I think even with 150-170, he will be lucky and that will not be enough even to keep the game close!

The idea that a 9-7 team that just barely backed into the playoffs is suddenly ready to take out the Colts and Manning, no matter how bad the defense has been playing is frankly, laughable. At best it will come down to a shoot-out and a shoot-out between KC and Payton is like a shoot-out between "Betty the bag-lady" and Wyatt Earp!

(You KC types need to: a) hire a real NFL coach; b) find a decent QB and then c) get ready for next year.....)

(I guess we know the answer now, - 32!)

As a Chiefs fan, you should be hoping it doesn't take that much. Think about it for a second, Johnson has carried 410 times this year, he hasn't had a break since week 3, somethings gotta give. He's already getting into the danger zone, if he doesn't get injured during the post-season, history says he probably will get hurt next year, the body can only take so much. The Chiefs would be smart to have him split time with Bennett, it's not like the Colts can stop anybody anyway.

What the Chiefs should do:
Johnson 16 carries, 110 yards
Bennett 12 carries, 80 yards

What the Chiefs will probably do:
Johnson 34 carries, 170 yards
They'll beat Indy, and then get clobbered by San Diego in the second round, and they'll have put LJ at risk in the process.

I think they have a hell of a shot at beating the Colts too, but honestly, no one is "pretty fresh" on that team after 13 weeks without a break. As a Charger fan, I'm REALLY glad my team got a first round bye because they had their bye week in week 3 as well. And call me crazy, but I'll take a fresh off a bye 14-2 Charger team thats undefeated at home over the Chiefs in the second round any day. But whatever happens, as a football fan, I'd hate to see a promising player's career get cut short from overuse. It's happened to too many in their prime... Dickerson, Davis, George to name a few, I hope the Chiefs don't make the same mistake with Johnson.

I would be shocked if he didn't get 150 against that defense. Just remember, even if the Colts win the road to the Superbowl passes through San Diego and LT will destroy them.

LJ must go for at least 200 yards for the Chiefs to even be in the game.

LJ will have 2 TDs, 151 yards rushing and 37 yds receiving.

Well, when he hits the 200 yard mark his legs should start cramping a bit. So, not much more than that unless of course he does that the first half and then they can give him an IV at halftime.
