I am looking for NO IRON sheets and want to know what is the best for NO IRON - would it be a cotton/polyester combination?

Percale refers to a closely woven, high thread count, fabric often used for sheets and clothing. From the Persian "pargalah."
Percale sheets are the best you can buy.

Percale is a tighter woven fabric. It will feel better to the touch than let's say a 180 count weave which will feel rough. Those are not percale) Now there's a new term used for linens, it's microfiber. It can be soft to the touch but it feels warm in the summer. Percale is just a nice crisp yet soft cloth. They are more money than microfiber and others but worth it.

All cotton sheets require ironing-- those with polyester in at least 50% will solve the ironing problem...
