no,they break up a good while now even before she retire but the wwe still keep them together for storyline purposes

Yeah Matt Hardy and edge were good friends in real life and when Hardy was out Edge and Lita had an affair and the wwe turned it into a storyline. That was one of the few things in wwe that wern't scripted.
