There are many books that are better than websites. Psychology is a very diverse subject and there are thousands of different opinions on EVERYTHING, it's not something you can get theories on in a short amount of time. Even if you take classes, it depends what teacher you have as to what you'll learn. Your best bet is to go to Amazon.com and look up books on basics of psychology, like maybe even a college text book and read. Most websites are going to be too biased after one certain train of thought, where as college text books are authored by anywhere from two to ten authors with differing ideas and opinions, so you get a better grasp.

The best way to learn about psychology... is to observe people.

I mean really watch and learn and listen to them.

All of the other junk is just a bunch of classifications and distinctions between them.

You can find that in any text book. If you go to some colleges you can purchase books. Librarys (although most there are outdated) and or like you said websites... Just google it.
