Could I be bipolar?
I have heard if you get pissed over nothing.
you could be in a great mood and suddenly for no reason depressed as hell?
because I keep having this happen.
like yesterday i was in a good mood, later on for no reason i had i guess you could say a mood swing?
That happens.
I haven't had a good nights sleep in over a week. (is that a symptom)
i thought about suicide once or twice, but I won't do that i just entered my mind.

can someone tell me if they think it is? because this sucks.

Thanks for the answers, I should have given a little more detail, i can go months without anything happening.
I'd say long as I can remember I have had this happen.
What makes me question is that I can go awhile without an episode.
just lately it has been making me lose sleep and without sleep I'm drained and it makes it worse.

No one knows about this except the people who read this, I kinda am afraid that people will say something like "you just want attention" or "your faking it" I don't trust many people, but if this continues I'll take the advice and tell a parent.

These ARE symptoms, however, they must presist for longer than a week. Like six weeks or longer. Your age, point in life, employment status, family, or other personal struggles could be the reasoning behind all of it. Go to a psychologist, don't self diagnose. And don't just go to your family doctor, some of them will just give you meds, but you really need to see a professional, especially if you are having suicidal thoughts.

Lots of things factor into being bipolar and family history is a big part of it. Has anyone in your family been diagnosed with depression or bipolar? There are lots of good websites to look at especially the National Institute of Health. Also, you can take lots of assessments online to determine where you stand. Don't be afraid to talk to someone - family doctor perhaps - about your symptoms. The symptoms need to be persistent lasting longer than 6 weeks and ongoing. Also, stay away from alcohol or any other types of drugs...can make things much worse. Best of luck.

Now I know that those are some signs, but those are some signs of being very depressed. Like someone said below, is there something major going on in your life and it is taking a toll on you? Because sometimes that can make you angry one minute and happy the next. If you are not getting any sleep and suicide has entered your mind once or twice, I would go and get checked....it's not a easy thing but you have to do it!
Good luck with everything:)

I can relate to those symptoms. You should google bipolar quiz or bipolar test. There are a ton of online "tests" or "quizes" to learn about the symptoms. Look that over and then go to your primary doctor. They should be able to help you from there with either a therapist or psychiatrist. If you start to feel suicidal, get to a safe place - preferably not alone. If you have to call 911 and they can just transport you to a safe place like a support center or hospital.

"The Earth is Bi-polar." Stephen Wright.

You could be? Best way to find out would be to ask a doctor. Not us yahooligans...

Sometimes... when we are raised by people that can't handle stress, neither can we. Sometimes it is just a matter of behavior modification, sometimes it is a chemical problem in the brain...

You have to go to someone who can tell you for sure...

it doen's necessarily means it's bipolarism it could just be deppression...have u had problems lately..something traumatic..if yes..then it's depression if there is no explanation they I suggest maybe a psychologist to help you determine the culprit og this mood swings..especially if you have suicidial thoughts
good luck
