You only hate the ones who have touched your heart. You hate someone because you either have loved them or you still do. They hurt you in some way and this is a natural response.
Hate is such a strong word. I personally don't like it and I don't hate anybody(not anymore anyway). I dislike a few people though.

I would say yes (ish).
In order to hate there must be a strong passionate base to it, which is also true of love. I always felt the true opposite of love was not hate but apathy.

Every emotion has its place.
You can hate something while still remaining in the spirit of love.

You can hate war.
You can hate violence.
You can hate poverty.

When it comes to hating a person, no. Hate has nothing to do with Love. Don't justify it.

You can't hate someone unless you have loved them at one point or another. Some people hate someone because they won't allow themselves to love that person anymore.........

To answer your question, no. It is the emotional process in which we try to relieve ourselves of a love we once had. Take care.....

Yes. In order to "hate" someone you have to have strong feelings for them. We do not hate complete strangers, we simply dislike them or their opinion. To actually be adamante about hating someone you have to have an emotional connection, (i.e. have a love for them at one point)

There is a little bit of love in hate, and a little bit of hate in love.

Not probably the answer you were looking for but I'm confused on the subject also. :)

Yes. In order to spend that much negative energy on hate, there has to be some form of love (however low), or why bother. . .
