No they dont attract wild rodents, but their food does. make sure you only feed them what they will eat in a single sitting, typically 2-3 times a day, and keep the remaining food in a sealed plastic or glass container

I've kept hamsters over 40 years and none of them ever attracted any wild rodents.

hamsters are ok for easy snacking, gerbils-properly I cant locate the money for gerbils, rats are merely nasty any way ya slice itand mice are to me what doublecheeseburgers are to you people-ya get one familiar. yet Guinea pig- ahh there's no longer something extra relaxing and filling as sparkling G-pig that some human baby has desperate to instruct unfastened interior the backyard. they submit a stable run however the gentle and savory physically powerful flavor makes it so helpful-oh my God i'm drooling merely thinking approximately it. Oh i'm sorry i presumed the question grew to become into which grew to become into the tastiest. i'm a cat -I wrote the e book on lovable so i grew to become into answering to a extra primeval instinct. yet while ya choose a lovable rodent-there's no longer something cuter than the way a mouse's eyes bulge out whilst theyre mendacity lifeless in a mousetrap.

Ummm..I have a gerbil and I havent had a problem....I guess it could if you take the gerbil outside..that may but I dnt think you would have that big of a deal.
My cat is the only thing that goes after it....So maybe a wild cat would

Not in my experience.
I've had a lot of them too.
However, if the wild rodents get into your house, the pet food (as well as human food) will attract them.

Mine did!
I was horrified one night to look into my hamsters cage to find two mice in there eating his food. He was burrowed into the litter like he always does at night.
I set traps for the mice outside of my hamsters cage.
Snap, snap in a few days all was well again.
It only happened once in years of owning a couple of hamsters.

Yes, exactly the way that domestic dogs draw wolves to your house, and domestic cats infest your house with cougars.
