B) The ability to forgive anything.
I admire people that can find forgiveness in others even under the most strenuous and reprehensible of circumstances, but I think that there also some things that should not be forgiven, and that being a little discriminating in your judgments is necessary. Compassion is beautiful, but it must be balanced with reason.

a) I like the rational mind. The ability to think thru a problem in a clear and logical manner.
b) The distrubed mind. A mind bound up in turmoil, defeated and angry.

a) intuition for truth, responsiveness to it, such that we equate it with beauty. (for example, we accept the idea that the Earth orbits the Sun in part because it is such an elegant explanation and awesome image)
b) how easily the mind is commandeered and twisted by bodily urges ... sexual in particular (for example, addiction to internet porn consuming a man's time and draining his energies away from real life relationships)
