What you need to do.. is take a deep breath and calm down. Now, at 4-5 weeks, there isn't really much that can hurt the baby, and before you know it, you might experience morning sickness (the name is deceiving.. it can last ALL day long) and you might not be able to eat a thing.. so not eating isn't really going to affect anything yet.. right now, you should pretend as though you're not pregnant.. leave that for when you start to show.. chill out a little bit..

I don't think there's any science yet proving that nervousness does or doesn't harm the baby, but worrying about being nervous is just counterproductive. I recommend that you deal with your nervousness by finding out the facts and preparing to deal with whatever you can.
If you don't know for sure whether you're pregnant, find out.
If you know you are pregnant (and you've decided to keep the baby), figure out what you can do now to get you ready. Figure out who can help you get through this--family, friends, clergy, maybe government agencies if you are poor or have no one else to help. Do you have medical insurance? If you don't, find out where to get it. I don't know where you are, but in the state where I live, pregnancy is not treated as a pre-existing condition. Make sure you eat properly, don't drink, smoke, or take recreational drugs, and get a doctor or midwife's advice before taking any medicine of any type. Find a counselor or someone whose advice you trust, preferably someone who's been through this herself, to guide you through, because my advice here is just the tip of the iceberg. You also need to know that however much you prepare, there will be some things you didn't expect. That's OK. That happens to everyone. My kid will be a year old in February, and I'm still not prepared for everything. The trick, as I see it, is to prepare for everything you can prepare for and to accept the things you can't.

Listen to Imani. Calm down! You can't hurt the baby at this stage. Most Doctors won't see you until your 8 to 10 weeks. If your nauseous try and eat crackers or something with not much flavor, like you would having the flu. Make sure you start taking folic acid vitamins, it's the best thing you can take having a baby. Call the Dr and set up an appointment. You have a lot to think about, so take it one day at a time.

Ok relax take a deep breath. This is what your body is made for, having babies. Your baby is so small right now that you do not have to eat very much because it takes whatever it needs from your body. Just relax or you are going to go gray before your time. Because being pregnant is the easy part you have a full 18 years after that to raise your child. Best of luck to you.

Have you been tested for pregnancy. Are you just nervous thinking you are. If so, get piece of mind and take a home pregnancy test or visit your OBGYN. Starving yourself can affect the baby.

Sounds to me like you need to go and seek some professional advice - talk to your Doc who will reassure you.
Being worried and stressed isn't ideal when your pregnant, but sometimes situations don't help, and it is unavoidable - your baby is very resilient and you need to take good care of it by taking good care of yourself.
Please go and have a chat with the doc who will alleviate your fears and will offer you some help. Take care and all the best. xx

Sounds like you could be making yourself sick. You should really watch it. Stress can cause you to miscarry, and you really need to get some food into during the day.

I think you are making yourself sick. Go take a day off, lay on the couch or in bed and relax! Drink broth.

I've never been pregnant, but I know that stress can definitely effect your body. You may want to talk to a counselor about your problem. Good Luck!
