I'm 8 months pregnant and the only stretch marks I have are on my breasts. They are purple, and show up more only sometimes. Will they go away??

They won't go away but they will fade in time. Cocoa butter will help to prevent any more. Be proud of them, they're babies first footprints. They're reminders that you've given life to another being. Congratulations xx

After you have your baby they will begin to fade. Eventually, the marks will fade to match your skin tone. They are the beauty marks of motherhood.

I got lots of stretch marks with both of my babies. Now three years after my last the marks are silvery and not very noticeable.

Best wishes for you and your little one.

I heard that you are supposed to apply cocoa butter with a little massage to stretch marks.

Yes you can do something about the stretchmarks when they are purple or red, but once they turn skin color there is nothing you can do about the striae. Buy Mederma, it is great for scars and stretchmarks.

this might not be possible after you have the baby and you might not agree - but tanning helps as you are doing it. They fade though. my stomach ones went from red purple, to white, to only seeing them at certain angles...
