Not a Christian, but have always considered the second comming as the day he rose from the grave and party with his friends? Easter I beleive.

That wasn't the second coming, that was just Easter. It was like, hey, I'm here, I'm okay. Keep on, keepin on, I'll be back.
The second coming is when Jesus comes back to take all of the good guys back to heaven with him. It's like, the final judgement day.

The term second coming was invented by the early catholics. refering to the time in the future when christ would come again to gather his flocks. Since christ came back after his reserection to do a little more work this would technically be his second coming and you would be right having not been alive to 'party' with him and his posse.
But since the term is translated differently then no you havent missed it. As Jesus said as a fig tree drops its leaves in its season you too will be able to read the signs of the times and now when he will come again. It says no one knows the hour nor the day of his coming, but what about the year or month? think about it...:-)

I never miss the second coming, it's the third & forth I have difficulty with, it's always hard, just won't come.
