I'm a smoker and I believe it's safe to say that NY and Cali have the toughest smoking bans. And yes u can be banded from smoking in a private place/home. Recently there was a couple in the News that can't smoke in their condo per Judge's order.

I believe you can ban smoking in public places but personal liberty unions would never allow a banning of smoking in private - it would be a violation of our "rights." So "totally" ban smoking - no.

I believe New York City has a ban on smoking in restraunts, bars, and other public establishments.

Its just about totally banned in California, If you are asking about cigarettes? But It may be required that you smoke dope in California or at least be stoned on something.That may not all be smog that hangs over LA.

Ohio, but it is being contest b/c people think that it may be unconstitutional. Currently, a lot of the places are not enforcing the law (some bars are, which sucks).

it is not banned in California I live here..theres cancer sticks everywhere...a very few citys have outlawed them in public areas
