Just doing the math 13.333 weeks. Physically it can be sooner or later depending on the growth of the baby and how you are feeling.

The end of the first trimester and beginning of the second is usually characterized by the way you are feeling and baby movement. When you feel the baby move and start having more energy and you start packing on the pounds you have moved into your second trimester. Usually sometime during the 4th month.

You are pregnant for 40 weeks most of the time. If you divide 40 weeks by 3 it is 13.3 weeks. So basically it would be 13 and a half weeks for each trimester. That works out to be about 3 calender months each.

3 months. There are usually 9 months in a pregnancy. Tri means three and since there are three trimesters in a pregnancy then each trimester consists of three months.

normal pregnancy is 9 months. Therefore if the pregancy is divided into trimesters (tri means 3), you divide 9 by 3.
First trimester is 3 months
Second trimester is the next 3 months
Third trimester is the final 3 months.
