An analytical person thinks in a detailed, methodical way. This person tends to question, reason, and examine, rather than to easily accept arguments and "evidence." Often this type of person is good at debate and creating arguments because he or she can easily identify flaws in reasoning and over-generalizations in the arguments of others. Analytical people make good lawyers, mediators, teachers, and leaders.

if someone is analytical, it means that they tend to analyse and over-analyse almost everything. They are very logical and can tend to overcomplicate things quite a lot.

according to the oxford dictionary it means,using analysis and analysis means detailed examination of the elements or structure of something, but put by my teacher it means indepth/detailed tests of facts or evidence
