beauty, to me, is looking lovely without makeup
in which case i pretty much fail lol
people fuss over it because beauty is seen as attractive, and a large amount of people want to be viewed as attractive, because they feel that is the best way to be seen
and to be honest, what wud you prefer to be, pretty or ugly?
o btw im talking about beauty as in looks on a person, not beauty as in the universe, like the person above lol

Beauty is the Universe. When you look up in a clear night and you have that sense of awe.... that's it. It's something that comes from within you that makes you feel a part of everything. Then, when you gaze on the sunset or quietly watch the butterfly sip the nectar out of a flower, you see the beauty.
What you are talking about is the superficial beauty we fuss about in our daily lives to appear more attractive. It is an instinctive behaviour when the social aspects of our human brain are entering adult hood. It is part of an ancient cycle to carry on our species.
Just know the difference between self esteem so that what others think of you won't matter, and then you can take the time to smell the roses and love life.
Beauty is a good thing. Just don't confuse it with looks only.

Honestly beauty is defined differently by each person.
We fuss over it so much because society has deemed it important to be beautiful... I think that is only because of commercial uses so we buy all the stuff that makes them rich.. I am guilty of it. But everyone must strive for inner beauty or the material beauty doesn't even matter!
My definition of beauty is confidence. When a man/woman is confidant the always stand out as beautiful to me.

I think that beauty is just an opinion. I am not too sure why there is so much fuss about it in our society but from what I have heard us Americans are the worst about it.

Nowadays people only consider the physical beauty. We all know that with age physical beauty wanes. It is temperory.What lasts forever is your character and your nature. I think we should make that more beautiful so that ppl remember us forever. People only fuss about the physical beauty. It doesn't mean anything to me atleast and it shouldn't mean to anybody else.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! This is what I have been told many times. I am not perfect but to my husband I am the most beautiful woman he has ever seen( tho I am told). We are raised in a world of super models and movie stars every where we look. It is taught to most of us at a young age that we should look a certain way thus causing us to feel inadequate most of the time. Am I to tall or to short. Most of us want what we don't have. If we sat back and looked at the women from times past we would see that beauty is who we are inside, how well we take care of our families , how well we treat others we don't even know(just saying excuse me when you accidentally walk in front of someone), giving your last dollar to a friend who is in need even tho you really wanted to buy that special something. When we do these things we look beautiful to those whom we have helped and to those who saw our act of kindness.

well, I know we say and I do agree with the saying that beauty is what u are inside, it's how kind, how sweet, how understanding, how supportive, how good of a heart you have. But these days, how many people you know that judges beauty that way? Now most people judge if someone's beautiful or not by their face or what they look like on the outside.

Beauty is something that is visually appealing. For instance, lighter features such as blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin is considered to be attractive to most normal people. Beauty means a lot of things. It means how do u do your hairstyle , makeup , accesaries and a lot more. we fuss about it so much cuz most of the girls like to put make up , do diffrent hairstyle , weare diffrent colors of jewerely that matches their clothes so they would look great !!!
and sometimes it help me to be girlieâ¥
