Well, I can only assume that you like suspense/thriller/mystery type books. Nonetheless, in spite of his enormous financial success and his undoubted ability to market himself extremely well, Mr Brown is a very long way away from being called an author by anyone who knows anything at all about the art of literature. His books are, in short, aimed for the semi-illiterate masses. They are also far from original.
However, if you would like to learn about the majesty of the written word, and the way it can be used to create real suspense and real emotions, try Alexandre Dumas' 'The Count Of Monte Cristo'. You will never read a better written book.

Ha ha, my books. short stories, I call them "JOHN" books. read one story while on the John.
History as it truely was. My own life with other stories I have saved for 40 years. All tied together with a family I call WEED.
If you like true stories check my site at www.wizeoldphart.com for a preview of "MY" books. True stories of kids growing up during the 40's and 50's. Pee your pants funny with a few tears. After the first book I had so many emails from my readers that I wrote the second. THE GOOD WEEDS and THE FAMILY WEED.
Thanks, Wayne

If you liked the DaVinci Code, you'll probably like "The Eight" by Katherine Neville. Or you might try "The Club Dumas" by Arturo Perez-Reverte.
If you're looking for something light and fun for a change read either "Hypocrite in a Poufy White Dress" or "Kiss My Tiara" by Susan Jane Gilman.

Read the Harry Potter books if you haven't read them. I thought they were going to be stupid books for little kids, but one night when I couldn't sleep the only book in the house that I hadn't read a million times already was Harry Potter so I started reading it and now I love them. Which Dan Brown book was your favorite? I personally liked Angels and Demons the best. In fact, I'm getting the water ambigram written inside my astrological symbol (I'm a Pisces) tattoed on my lower back.

If you like those somewhat historical fiction books here are a few that i would reccomend:
The Historian (Its a vampire book but not like you would expect and its deeply rooted in history)
The Rule of Four (another one with a lot of historical background to it)
The Dante Club (real interesting murder mystery set around Dante's inferno and it incorporates real historical figures into the story very intersting)
The Thirteenth Tale (not so much historical but so well written and kinda twisted---very good)
There is alwasy James Patersons murder mysteries if thats your thing they are really good.

The Water is Wide. This is one of my favorites. A true story and (bonus) it was made into a hallmark movie. Note, it's a great story but not the kind of fuzzy bunny story you would expect from Hallmark. Blessings
