The average American's fascination with celebrity-related news is the fault of the US media. How can someone like Paris Hilton overshadow the real news?

Paris Hilton is a skinny whore & that is all anyone cares about these days.
If it were anyone else acting the same way,it would be the same as long as there was sex or naked butts & boobs involved!

Yes, way too much. Its hard to believe the amount of time that 'big time' newscasters spend reporting on her and other celebrities. Olberman(n), O'Reilly, et. al., spend at least one fourth of their broadcasts on celebrity news. Sometimes more on the celebs. than reports on world news.

Yes she does, but it it of her own doing. She needs to learn how to be a lady not a public trash bucket. She could use her fame for good but uses it to make herself look dumb and ditzy and bring down her family name.
