Unequivocally no. You couldn’t carry or buy enough ammunition to do that kind of damage. It’s another one of those Hollywood myths like shooting through the floor in order to drop through.
The round used in the AK47 is a 7.62mm X 39mm hardball round. This round travels at a high velocity and does not expand when it hits. What you will end up with is a less than .30 caliber hole in the wood and some splintering on the back side. The initial passage of the bullet will be .30 caliber but the wood will then close up a small bit leaving a much smaller hole.
The shotgun slug will tear chunks out of a 2X4" board and could do significant damage if you could shot each support several times. Figuring on a few hundred 2X4's in a building the ammunition requirements would be enormous. Shooting that many 12 gauge slugs would damage you joints to the degree that you could never fire enough to break all of the supports.

No, not like in the movies, It would eventually collapse if you shot all of the correct support beams, over a 2 or 3 week period. Not like they show in the movies.

No, not a modern house. I guess if it was an adobe house, or mud hut, it would be possible, maybe even with a log cabin built entirely of wood.
But in a modern house with plastic, duct work, plumbing, wiring, reinfored concrete - no way.

Yes, but it might take a few weeks to shoot through all of the structural supports.

i would say yes if you taking out the load bearing beams. think a textbook resting on matchsticks. if you take enough out the book will collapse because the weight overwhelms the strength of the support

Yep.
You do enough damage to the structure of any building and it'll fall.

Maybe you should email "Mythbusters" and see if they will test it. (If you aren't aware, Mythbusters is a TV show that tests all kinds of different myths to see if it would work in real life).

No! Random fireing wouldn't do it.
In fact, the way they showed it, someone would have been killed outside.
