We only got 7 paid holiday's off for 2007 and christmas eve & new years eve were not on the list. I work in a business 9/5 enviornment and do not work retial hours or shifts. Did anyone else get snubbed?

Companies are different. Holiday pay is up to the company,they will pay you if they want too and if they do not want to, they do not have too. You should already know this, if you work for the company, that is usually explained at time of employment. Some people have to work on holidays, so how do you think your getting snubbed. With unemployment so high, be glad you even have a job.

I work 12 hours a day and only get pennies. They tell me I will be fired if I speak up. I feel snubbed too!
