I had one from Parker Brothers also but mine worked. Mine was the one that glows in the dark. So one night I was playing around with it seeing what would happen. It started calling me names - not able to post - and so I asked who was there and it spelled out Satan. I instantly turned on the lights and put the game up. Ever since I have been waking up with scratches all over my body that I don't know how it got there. It won't be just 1 or 2 scratches. It's in groups of like 5-6 at a time each time it's happened. About a month after that happened I was sitting at our computer desk and the light bulb in the lamp exploded. A few minutes after that happened hot liquid was poured onto my leg from the top of the computer desk. The only thing that was up there beside the lamp was a small hotel bottle of shampoo. No one else was around me when it happened, they were in the other parts of the house. Once it stopped burning my leg, I noticed it was in some kind of symbol. I looked it up and sure enough it was the symbol of Satan. That's the only time that has happened, but I still get the scratches all the time. Atleast once a month, and that has been almost 2 years since that's happened. I got rid of the board, but it still happens. We've ever called a preist into the house, it still happens.

I agree that powerful spirit creature, demons, who do exist and are confined to the vicinity of the earth, can use the Ouija Board or anything for that matter. It's not always "just a game" as some claim. My only story is from my boyfriend:
In his 20's he had two female friends who used the board. He made fun of them. They offered to show him. He sat opposite girl #1. They both closed their eyes and put their fingers on the indicator. Girl #2 asked the questions and read the answers. After a few questions Mark said he had been feeling girl #1 moving the indicator all along and still didn't "believe". He opened his eyes and girl #1 was several feet away. Apparently she had slipped away right after he closed his eyes. If she had spoken then he would have realized she moved. That's why girl #2 did all the talking. It freaked him out! Needless to say he's a believer like you believe in gravity. You know it exists and you don't test it.

When i was a teenager i used to play on a homemade ouija board. It's called spirit of the glass. You take some paper and right out the alphatete, numbers, yes, no and do not forget good-bye. Put everything in a circle, get a glass turn it upside down and begin to play. I have heard it say you only get bad spirits this way. I used to get a spirit that called himself joe the bad part of satan, and thenone that said his name was satan( the good part) if there is one. And all kinds of funky things happened. LIke it would tell us songs that were coming on the radio and what channel, Tell us how was on the phone. Warned us of somethings and some bad stuff happened to. Remember to always say good-bye. It is very important. Or you are inviting spirits to hang out around you. This could be a bad thing so i have found out for myself.

I have had negative experiences with the board and would personally never use it again.I have also heard several stories of negative and downright terrifying things happening to people who have used them. But I have also heard of many people using them and absolutely nothing happening to them.Positive or negative. Now I'm not sure if this is something personal,or if it has to do with the location where it was used.I do know that the board can open up doors that you may not be able to close again.I would be careful.

Ouija boards aren't completely harmless. However, I haven't experienced anything that horrible when using them. A few of my friends have used them a lot more than I have they say they have opened doors and come into contact with spirits and things. I don't think there's anything wrong with trying it at least once, but I would still be careful.
Ouija boards are not toys.

Theres a variety of answers to this. Yes they are harmless in themselves but it would depend upon the trustworthiness of the medium involved and they should only be used under the supervision of a good one. You should always psychically ask for protection from spirit guides. you should always be polite and thank the spirits afterwards. also spirits may not be who they say they are, so be wary, but personally if used properly it should'nt be a problem, although i think if you have issues these can be picked up and used psychologically against you, for instance if you think bad things may happen chances are they will, but they will probably be caused by you and your insecurities about the ouija

The use of "Ouija" boards is considered harmless but there certainly is a "power" behind it so a little caution is needed. The power behind the Ouija board does not come from the board itself but, rather, from the desire of the people who play it. So, be selective who you play it with as you might run into a strange "spirit" that was called by one of the other players. And, if you are not protected, this spirit will create problems for you.

I never used a ouiji board but I have seen my classmates use it when I was in school way back during lunch breaks. They would draw all these ouiji letters on a piece of paper and use a pointer to point at those letters. At one time this guy fell to the ground and started to convulse, he turned bright red and foam at the mouth and he couldnt speak. He was like that for 10 mins, and when he came through he said he couldnt remember what happened to him.

oh yea the Spirit Board. 33 yr old here. and when i was 7 i remember my mom breaking one in half and throwing it away. By the time i was 12 i wanted one. mom bought one for me too. me and 3 girl friends had a sleep over and played with the board. It mentioned a friend that was there, her dead sister was in purgatory. Course we didn't know what that ment.we assumed not in heaven and not in hell but a waiting place. when we asked if she was in the room with us it said yes. not to mention we were barely touching the sliding teller. so some other stuff happened we got scared took it to my mom she threw it away and i have never used or seen one sense.
