Your coin is KM# 2 under East Africa. It is made of copper-nickel not silver. Value in grade fine about $2.00 to around $12.00 in extra fine grade. This is book price, so you would get less from a world coin dealer. It is a very interesting coin and as time goes by, can only go up in value. Hold on to it.

I don't know much about world coins but you could try a coin dealer or check with your local library to see if they have any reference books.
