This may be a stupid question, but can someone tell me where I can buy really thick paint markers (like someone might use for grafitti)
I live in Ontario Canada and need to make a really large sign, I am not sure how else to do it.

If you have any other suggestions that you think would work, anything would be helpful.
Thanks!!

It sure would help to know how big your sign will be and what type of surface you want to letter it on. Are you wanting to letter on paper, cardboard, plywood, metal, or the side of a concrete block building? How big is big, will the sign be 2' x 2' or the size of a billboard? Will the sign be used indoors or outdoors? How long do you expect it to last? Is it just lettering, or do you plan on including artistic graphics? I'm sure you get the idea.

Best advice is to visit the nearest art supply store and follow their recommendations. If there is not an art supply store in your area, you can try a web search for "sign painting" and read up on the subject.

Good luck with your sign painting.

It depends on how big of a sign your doing and how nice you need it. I live in the USA, so I'm not sure what stores you have over there. Try a hardware store or Meijers. I use the large sharpies myself or depending on how big and what kind of board you are using it maybe easier and less time consuming to just paint it with a foam applicator or spray paint. If you need it to stand the weather outside I recommend using the foam boards you can purchase at Meijers or Walmart pretty cheap. Sharpies work great on it too!
