I'd be scared to try it. I got an iPod Shuffle, the official Apple mains charger costs £30. On Ebay, I got a charger of same specification for less than £10 (made in China, but so is iPod).

if the plug fits
if the power supply is right then OK

check the power output of the charger against the power output of the Mp3 player's chargers

First, check if the plugs are identical. Second, check the voltage and the current needed to charge both devices. If they are not identical, you'll fry the battery of the smaller one.

i would have thought so, i have a samsung camera and a samsung phone and they both use the same charger. give it a go, it cant hurt!

Does the both have the same voltage?Does both have the same pin size?If yes then you can charge both with same charger.

you will need to check the voltage and the amp for each, it is unlikely that they mach, but one never knows.
also, the hole has to be the same size
