1. I think you mean silver thiosulfate. HNO3 oxidizes S2O3= to 2SO4=, and Ag2SO4 is slightly water soluble.
2. Ag2S2O3 forms a water-soluble complex, Ag(S2O3)2= in excess S2O3=.
3. BaS is water-soluble.
4. Because the reaction is driven by evolution of a gas from it: BaSO3 + 2HCl ===> BaCl2(aq) + H2O + SO2(g)
5. Because no gas can be evolved.
6.
7. 2Fe+3(aq) + 3H2O ===> Fe2O3(s) + 6H+
8.
9. All of those are reducing agents. I2 + 2e- ===> 2I-
10. Those are both oxidizing agents. I2 ===> IO3- + 5e-

Why is everyone sayin the multi choice was hard - it was beautiful! They were all so easy and there was about 12 repeats such as: 1)What will disolve to produce a basic solution 2)how many mols of iodine are reduced by 1 mol of Permanganate 3)Fe gives a poitive result ith proteins, which compound will likely give the same result 4) 10g of silver is reacted, which of the follwoing is true (like 10th year ina row) 5) Equlibrium question! 6) Feedstock question! 7) Hess's law question! im sure there was more lol but i cant remember however, the calculations were hard, purely becasue the answers that i got just looked like rubbish i got tinnny numbers for most of them??
