It could have a lot to do with the image people portray. In other words, I don't believe the people you see in person refer to you as "mr angry black male" .. LOL

I'm white and I'm never angry on here. I've noticed in chat rooms, that everyone seems to be arguing, assuming that's due to not being able to hear their tone of voice. That's why I don't go to them anymore.
I've noticed people tend to get offended 10 times easier on the 'net due that same thing...not being able to hear the tone of voice of the person stating it, which could very well be a very respectful tone.

The same thing that I tell an "angry white person" when they have something negative to say about blacks. You need to get out more! I am surrounded by HAPPY white people, blacks, latinos, asians... Seriously, what a dumb question!!

Because they know the impression they make in person will be remembered and used against them later, because people are like that. Honesty is mostly a privilege reserved for those who have nothing left to lose. But by Sunday, nobody in the world will remember I wrote this, not even me.

I think that the reason people (white or otherwise) show anger on the internet more readily is because of the anonymity that is possible. Anyone who wants to can get online, make up a name, start a site or blog and say whatever is on their mind... anger, love, fear, whatever.

They like to put on a front like everytinhg is ok and that they have the perfect lives! Anyone whose smart knows that they have depression problems and all sorts of perverted thoughts! Plus they have the security feeling to know that they can't get punched the hell out!

Not all of us are like that I actually have word "ANGRY" tattooed on my stomach. I am pretty much angry all the time.
