Whatever pops into my head, or just skip the question. I'm pretty smart and already know somethings that people ask. I give others a chance to answer something I don't know then go research. I have asked questions for some important issues, got good answers so they got the ten points. Plus researching takes time and people are already amswering before you even start.

It depends on the question.If the question needs a lot of knowledge,I do research the answer;I never write whatever pops in my head. If the question is easy,I just don't research.So I guess both work.

I like to search out the questions about subjects that interest me. Those about the trades that I spent a lifetime in are always answered, if the question is clear and complete enough for me to have a good idea of what the questioner is trying to learn.
Some others, if they're goofy, they get a goofy answer. I don't appreciate long sermons from those trying to drum up followers of their religion. Questions are for learning, but spreading beliefs.

If I think the person really wants an answer I research, if it's just a S&G question...then I give them a S&G answer.

Research if it's hard and write what pops into my head if it's easy. I like challenges so I reseach. I've also realized reseach means you're more likely to get the ten points.
