How do i sex guppy fry and swordtail fry? The Swordtail fry have spots on them so how do i know its a female if i cant see a gravid spot? The black spots on the swordtail fry dont let me see in them!
The swrdtail fry were born on Dec 7th and the guppy fry were born on Dec 20!

Dude do you have like desperate idis or what!? why dont you calm down then you can probably sex them! You cant sex them if they arent even a month old!!!! Your'e to desperate or anxious to see them grow up!! Swordtails get their swords when they are about 3-4 months old. Guppies can be seperated when they get a little older possibly two more weeks and then you can start seperating.Here are some links on when and how to seperate fry!...

You will not be able to sex them for a while. Swordtails take 2 or more months to reach sexual maturity, and you can sex them by the 'sword' on their tails - if they develop, they are male. You may also see the gonopodium.
Guppies can be sexed a sooner, at 4-6 weeks (depending on how warm/clean the water is, and now big the tank is). The males have a modified anal fin, this is called the gonopodium, and you can see it on 1 to 2 month old fry.

It's simply too soon to sex them, and probably they wont hold still long enough to see anyways.
Wait a few months then try. They wont be breeding or anything by then, and should happily live together till they reach sexual maturity
